Rosemary Moore’s plays, SIDE STREET, A SLIGHT KIDNAPPING, THE BAR PLAY, AUNT PIECES, PAIN OF PINK EVENINGS and PINEAPPLE have been read or staged at the Cherry Lane Alternative, The New Group, New York Theater Workshop, New Georges, Manhattan Theater Source and HERE.  Her plays have been directed by Michael Sexton, Ian Morgan, Jessica Bauman, Sonja Moser, Tony Kushner, John Augustine and Davis McCallum. Her play “The Pain of Pink Evenings” was published in The Best American Short Plays of 2001 by Applause Books.  Her one-woman shows, LIVING ON THE MEDIAN STRIP, CARTOON ON TIME, and NEVER STARE AT THE SUN were produced by Home for Contemporary Theater and Art and directed by Lori Herbison and Roberta Levine.  Rosemary has received support from Breadloaf Writers Conference, Virginia Center for Creative Arts and the Cherry Lane Mentor Project. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild and is an Associate Artist at New Georges. Rosemary holds an MFA in Dramatic Writing from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University where she studied with Maria Irene Fornes and Tony Kushner. She taught writing at Rutgers University for eleven years. Now Rosemary teaches writing workshops to writers and non-writers  from NYC, Arizona, Maine, California, Hawaii, Argentina and Indiana  on zoom  in her living room or in person in her living room.
